Meet Young People Where They Are
Lego StopMotion is DontChoooseDeath.org's chosen medium for good reason. Alex Riemann is a high school senior and the main proprietor of DontChoooseDeath.org. He and his classmates have enjoyed many Lego StopMotion films on YouTube since middle school. Many adolescents, like Alex, have grown up with this very popular type of content. DontChoooseDeath.org believes it is an effective way to tap into and engage young and impressionable minds. The alarming lack of education and widespread misconceptions & misinformation amongst young kids is, problematic. Directly communicating the very real dangers of drug use to kids in a credible, intuitive and organic way is key.
Alex has been making Lego stopmotion videos since the sixth grade and has his own YouTube channel dedicated to exploring and sharing his passion. Our plan is to reach our target demographic of middle schoolers to young adults where they already are - on line - using a medium they are already engaged with - Lego stopmotion.
